Singapore Grand Prix: Car Weights

You can put those assumptions to bed as Lewis Hamilton, the pole-sitter for the Singapore Grand PRix, is not the lightest car on the grid. In fact, that honor befalls BMW’s Nick Heidfeld. Perhaps most interesting is the fuel load of Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel as he was rumored to be running heavy.

how will this affect the race? There is a good cahnce Hamilton will charge away off the start with KERS however, will Vettel’s lighter fuel load allow him to leap frog the McLaren if he gets a good start. Something the Red Bull driver desperately needs in order to take advantage of Brawn GP’s misfortune during qualifying.

Force India’s Adrian Sutil is fueled heaviest and as the team was surprised by their lack of pace, they have chosen to go deep. Should prove to be an interesting race nonetheless.
