Yeah, that’s right. The allocations are the same this year. I can’t believe RBR would miss what Merc was doing but in the end, they may have known that their tire wear wasn’t going to make a 2-stopper a good option. Would love to hear RBR’s explanation.
I just got my dad into watching the races with us this year, and when he asked what Monaco was like, I replied that it’s a unique race and it’s great to watch because there’s no race like it elsewhere on the calender. If there were two Monaco races though, it would be boring to watch as it’s low speed and no passing with walls everywhere. That’s how I described it.
CAn’t recall, was it Patrese or someone else who said it was like riding a 10-speed bike in a bathroom. :)
