Sutil vs Bianchi…Careful Jules, he’s dangerous

I was reading James Allen’s story on Force India’s available seat and was saddened to hear that Sebastien Buemi is out of the running. According to Blick, Buemi said he’s out or the running.

Allen says that Jules Bianchi is a strong runner for the position and that’s not a big leap of faith as he’s the team’s reserve driver. The question is, how much sponsor backing can he bring to the table in the form of cash?

Jaime Alguersuari was also reportedly a consideration but he’s being tipped for a DTM ride and the erstwhile Adrian Sutil is said to be a possibility as well.

Bianchi had three wins and five pole positions in the Formula Renault 3.5 series and was linked to Ferrari’s young driver development program having tested for them in 2009 and secured the role as reserve driver for 2011. The team apparently “loaned” him to Force India for 2012.

Good choice? Who do you feel would be the best choice for Force India? Keep in mind, they’ll most likely need to bring cash with them. Sutil is a former Force India driver and knows his way around a Formula One car but an altercation in China back in 2011 and was convicted of causing harm to Genii Capital’s Eric Lux after cutting him with a glass that Sutil broke.
