We had posted the projected grid positions as calculated by Autosport earlier but the FIA has released the official positions and here they are:

They differ slightly from Autosport’s original projections but to be honest and fair, I also thought their original projections were spot on given the information at hand. Autosport did their homework, as usual, and came up with the list to the best of their knowledge and I think they did a great job in attempting to define the grid. There were timing issues attached to each penalty and the lack of information presented an issue on who was penalized first which makes a difference on where they slot in.

Anyway, here it is. The final list. Now what do you think? Any chance Rosberg will ruin Barrichello’s race? After turn one will it be Hammy, Vettel Kimi, Trulli, Heidfeld?
