According to Speed TV, Bernie Ecclestone, F1 CEO, met with the teams prior to the European Grand Prix and showed them a calendar for 2010. It included 18 races and counted Canada as one of them.
The teams are said to be delighted with the schedule, which also includes the much maligned Valencia event, and were accepting of the additional race. No details were provided as to dates and tracks but it is a good sign that the teams are willing to have additional races what with the goofy new tracks and the missing old tracks. If Canada costs us Valencia…I won’t need a tissue. There were more people on the public beach at that race than in the grand stands. Sad. Turkey redux.
