This F1 driver was the first person from his nation to enter an F1 event. He had two attempts and was unsuccessful in both. A failed engine in the first race and a failed qualifying attempt in the second race. He raced for a small team that tried a few times to make it in F1 only to fail and subsequently disappear. This driver did race in a famous event in New South Wales and had a modicum of success with a 1st in class finish.
