Skip to 8:40…. prior to that is just advertisements and talking about themselves
That is true, but is that not sort of the point? There are lots of podcasts out there for F1 info. Each has a different spin on how they do it. Tod, Grace and Paul sort of invite us to sit with them while they chat about the stuff that interests them. Sometimes they talk about formula 1.
We may not be the podcast for you, unfortunately, as Paul is the sporting director for Heart of Racing IMSA team and they just had a top 4 finish and we talk about that on our show. Apologies but there are lots of other F1 podcasts out there that don’t talk about these things. You might try one of those.
Personally I think the banter bookending the race discussion is what makes the podcast. If I wanted clinical, Formula 1 makes their own podcast for that ;) Plus how else could I listen to Todd sweat over my name pronunciation? XD
LOL. It’s a tricky one. ;) Well, we aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. We said way back in 2007 that our goal was that our podcast should be two friends having a beer at talking about the sport they love. With that comes some banter and other topics. There are lots of podcasts with raw numbers, lap times, analytics and zero banter and that’s great! We aren’t one of those, however, and we prefer being part of a community with our listeners.
This one was fun… Romain and a few others need to go elsewhere.
There’s so much talent right now, there needs to be two more teams.
