Although Toyota’s announcement of a first-ever operating loss was met with furrowed brows on Wall Street, President Watanabe says they are staying in F1.
“The change in the world economy is of a magnitude that comes once every hundred years, We are facing an unprecedented emergency. “We continue F1 and other motorsport activities while cutting costs.”
Whew!! That’s good. We wouldn’t want them to do anything rash like pull out of F1 Honda-like.
