Join Paul and me for this TPF Formula 1 podcast Austrian Grand Prix review. We cover each team and driver as they finished and discuss the thrills, spills and chills of a busy weekend in the Styrian Mountains. We even hand out awards for pass, donkey and driver of the race.
Hi, Can you post the books you mention in the podcast somewhere on the site or in a comment here?
Sure, Jackie Stewart’s autobiography, Murray Walker bio, Webber’s book, Damon Hill, Berger’s book, Anything from Steve Matchett (in fact, all of them), The Limit by Michael Cannell, Also I enjoyed the Prost/Senna (story of most deadly rival) book and Go like Hell which was the book about Ford vs Ferrari in late 60’s.
The reason I liked the Prost / Senna book is that it was the least biased and didn’t quickly make Prost out like the antagonist or villain in every race… he wasn’t.
BTW, found this. This is a steal: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/p/senna-versus-prost-malcolm-folley/1111616361/2674184255945?st=PLA&sid=BNB_DRS_New+Marketplace+Shopping+Books_00000000&2sid=Google_&sourceId=PLGoP212653&gclid=Cj0KCQjwvezZBRDkARIsADKQyPkJsHpJaLiV-XfpsYDOMdu7fPxpuYP1V4FJvoMs1bF299MyHiXrWMIaAhwTEALw_wcB
I’ll add Jo Ramirez Autobiography ‘Memoirs of a racing man’ – https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jo-Ramirez-Memoirs-Racing-Man/dp/1844258610
and ‘BEAST’ about the Mercedes Benz Indy 500 Penske engine to that list – https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beast-Secret-Ilmor-Penske-Shocked-World-ebook/dp/B00KBBVQ0G
Many more if want recommendations. Other bookshops are available.
