Join Paul and me as we review the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix on this F1 podcast. We cover Ferrari’s win, Kimi’s return to the top step, Lewis’s impending 5th championship and review each team and driver as they finished.
With Paul at the race, he’ll give you insight to the “fan experience” and we talk about the race environment as well as hand out awards and read your mail.

You know, it’s not often I totally disagree with NC and Paul, but wow, this week! Kimi as drive of the race???? You boys were on the Kool-Aid.
Anyway, I wanted your thoughts on Sainz, what the hell was that penalty? It seems to me that they were a bit too zealot there. Meanwhile I notice that Max didn’t even bother trying to take the S-curves in avoiding Alonso-Stroll and gained several positions) probably the 3rd or 4th time this has happened with him this year).
Stop wasting the first 15 minutes of every show with chit chat. Talk more racing!!!
I personally like the chit chat. At least it’s not overly populated with adverts and self promotion like some other podcasts.
Hmmm…this may not be the F1 podcast for you if the chit chat is bothering you. We started talking about the race weekend, the vibe at the circuit and Paul’s thoughts on the F1 fan experience within the first 4-5 minutes. I thought folks might be interested in hearing what Paul thought of the circuit and the track since he was there. Perhaps not. Also, Since podcast #1…we’ve always been about long form, not 30 minutes race highlights or 45 min casts with 15 min of commercials. Some folks don’t like out long podcasts, others do. Just depends on what… Read more »
No complaints about the chit chat from me. In some way we get to know who you are and not just voice.
Yeah, wish we could please everyone’s tastes but we just can’t. Back in the day (around podcast 150-250) I tried changing things and for every person we shortened the cast for, a bigger number of folks got angry for making it shorter. For every person we made happy with no chit chat, we’d make more people angry by not being natural and getting to know our listeners and letting them get to know us like real friends. We were the podcast that started and said we wanted it to be like two friends, having a beer and chatting about the… Read more »
I don’t mind the chit chat either.
