A carbon fiber worker at the Ferrari plant in Maranello was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a mild for m of tuberculosis (TB).The disease is contagious and very deadly if untreated. The Sun quoted a British employee as saying:
“We’re not happy, We think the lab should be shut down until we get an all-clear. It feels as if Ferrari are putting cars before people.”
Apparently the 25 technicians, whose job it is to build Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa’s cars, are undergoing blood tests to check for TB. Although they are being tested, they have been instructed to continue working.
