The Formula 1 US Grand Prix Sprint began with a bit of excitement that quickly drained out of the event leading to another dominant win from Max Verstappen followed by an on-form Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
The race was a bit of a damp squib if I’m honest but nonetheless, this is what all those F1 fans said they wanted, a Sprint race on Saturday to “spice up the action”.
I’m been fairly clear on my feelings about the Sprint favoring a revamped qualifying format which is longer with more excitement making Saturday a full qualifying day.
I’m sure they can’t but if I were any team outside of the top midway througha Sprint, I’d park my cars in favor for the race on Sunday.
