During the Singapore Grand Prix, the graphic displayed on the world broadcast feed was that there was an incident involving Red Bull’s Mark Webber and Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi and that it was being investigated after the race. That incident has been fully examined and it has left Webber out of the points for Singapore with a 20-second time penalty for running off track and gaining an advantage:
“Car #2 left the track and gained an advantage when he rejoined”, said race stewards.
The penalty has dropped Webber from 10th to 11th position, elevating Sergio Perez to the point-scoring places.
