With proceedings getting underway for the 6 Hours of Fuji in Japan this weekend. The FIA World Endurance Championship released the series 2015 calendar.
The biggest change to the calendar is no return to Interlagos, Brazil for 2015, cited by FIA WEC CEO Gérard Neveu as been due to circuit renovations. The FIA WEC will instead visit the Nurburgring for the 50th anniversary of the Nurburgring 1000km’s running on the Grand Prix layout. This will mark the first time the FIA WEC has visited Germany and the first time Le Mans Prototypes have run in competitive racing in Germany since the 2009 Nurburgring 1000kms, when the race was part of the Le Mans Series.
The full calendar is as follows
