Just a quick note to say following his accident during today’s 6 hours of Sao Paulo, Mark Webber is according to the FIA WEC Awake and alert in the medical centre.
Update 1/12/2014 – A tweet was released this morning by Porsche Motorsport official twitter feed @PorscheRaces, The tweet read “@AussieGrit (Mark Webber) spent the night in hospital in São Paulo. He sustained bruising and concussion. He is set to return to the UK later this week.”
This was immediately followed by @AussieGrit “I’m quite sore this morning, am pretty bruised and have got a stinking headache. I’ve got no recollection of the accident.”
