Todd, years ago when he came to F1 in 2017 to Toro Rosso, you thought Gasly was not going to make it compared to Sainz (and I agree, that was a close call).. I always thought he had both the talent and spirit (not Verstappen focus, but male strong spirit) to drive with excellence. In the last two years, it has been amusing to see you be in his corner as he wrestled a duff car. Now with MB power that car can, again, over-perform. Allez Pierre!
Yeah, I wasn’t sure how long he might be for the F1 world but his win, like Vettel before and Max, showed he is and he’s a damn good driver. I’ve become a real fan.
