I’m sure there are people grumbling about the semi-procession during the last 40% or so of the Monaco GP, but as Jarno Trulli proved, you never know when something unexpected is going to happen at this particular race.
(Here’s hoping that initial signs that Karun Chandhok is OK prove true.)
And it may be too soon to say, but Michael Schumacher also may have proved that theory. We’ll see.
Beyond those incidents, there were multiple moments that could lay claim to being today’s highlight. Fernando Alonso’s drive. Lewis Hamilton’s crying into the radio. The drain cover safety car. DiGrassi and Glock trading clinics on how to drive a car that has no grip. HRT trying to show it deserves to be on the grid. Double points finish for Force India! And for you Mark Webber fans… well, that’s obvious.
