The Verizon Indycar Series announced the official 2015 Indycar Series calendar today, once again; the series has introduced a compacted calendar running from March through to the end of August. The season features seventeen races inclusive of the season’s only double header event, the Detroit Grand Prix at Belle Isle.
The 2015 season will open with a debut at the Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasília, with the other new addition to this year’s calendar coming in the form of NOLA Motorsports Park. Indycar’s much awaited Aero Kits meanwhile will see a competitive debut at the St Petersburg Grand Prix.
