De Ferran Is Back!

4

Gil De Ferran is coming out of retirement to compete in the ALMs series with his own team. I have been singing the ALMS praises for some time but perhaps people will start looking at ALMS as an alternative to the CHAMP car exodus to H-IRL, as in vomit, to find a very competitive series right here int he US. Not to mention names but I am looking squarely at you Mr. Haas.

I may have to check out ALMS finally. H-IRL is a good one. I think if Haas would leave that would about due them in, which may not be a bad thing since it is kind of an embarrASSment. Plus now there best driver is gone, although that may make the others look better.

Just in case I haven’t mentioned it I hate Tony George with a passion that words can’t describe. Thats all.

ALMS is the most entertaining and competitive series in America. I had the chance to go to the race at mid-ohio and in Detroit. Open wheel racing in America will alway be a big second to Formula 1 and other open wheel series. The battle between champ car and IRL is stupid. Too many rich men crying because they think their series is better……YOU WILL ALWAY BE SECOND TO F1….

Scott Sharpe will be bringing his Patron sponsorship to the ALMS this season, I would love to see more top drivers and team make the move.

I agree. ALMS is a great series. I like it better than the NAPCAR outlet of Can Am and US open wheel. I think Ralf should have come here along with Wurz. Great racing and great fun to watch.

Dear Nick F,

remember that part when I said it wasn’t you but me… yeah I lied.

Your pal,
Gil.
