As the 2013 Formula One World Championship enters the five race Middle and Far Eastern swing of the season, the bright lights and narrow confines of the Singapore street circuit bring forth the F1B staffers to talk smack and grant the Kiss of Death to some unwitting, relatively innocent GP pilot. Getting the positive votes this week seems to be Lewis Hamilton, who takes three nods for the win, along with usual suspect Sebastien Vettel.
Ferrari…I mean Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen gets two picks while Dave is going out on a possible limb with Nico Rosberg. Meanwhile, Lotus…I mean Ferrari driver Felipe Massa must some blurred vision due to the tears in his eyes over the loss of his seat for 2014, as Andrew, Tony and the official Kiss of Death giver Grace all see the Brazilian to be first out of this weekend’s race. For that coveted two points, Gutierrez gets two picks, while Championship leaders Vettel and Alonso take a pick each. Somehow both Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado only get one pick each, as well. Has faith been restored or have we just gotten bored with their not following through for us? Whatever the case, those Marina Bay walls will almost definitely jump out and bite someone and don’t be surprised if it’s Turn One on Lap One.
