First up this week is Force India. The team have said they don’t plan to announce their second driver in time for the launch of their 2013 car on 1st February. What do you make of this decision? Shouldn’t the team have decided on their second driver by the launch? Do you think they’ll use the first test to decide who to put in the seat? The team have also denied rumours about their future being in jeopardy due to financial problems – what are your thoughts on this? Do you think Force India could be in trouble and do you think this explains why they haven’t announced their second driver?
Alonso has been quoted a few times in the press this week. He told the media at Wrooom that he’d happily support Massa if he was leading the championship. He also said Massa is ‘one of the best drivers in the world’. What do you make of this? And what do you think we can expect from Felipe in 2013 following a positive end to his 2012 season? Alonso was also quoted saying that Hamilton is his strongest rival in F1 and thinks he will win races for Mercedes in 2013. What are your thoughts on these comments?
News this weekend: Toto Wolff is leaving Williams for Mercedes and Timo Glock has been quoted saying that he is leaving Marussia, making way for Vitaly Petrov. What are your thoughts on this news?
