Big news this weekend – Kimi Raikkonen will be sitting out the remainder of the 2013 season after electing to undergo back surgery this week. We’ve also got the US GP to look forward to. Here’s what’s coming up on tomorrow’s #F1Chat…

Let’s start by talking about Raikkonen. What are your thoughts on his decision to sit out the remainder of the season and have back surgery now? Is it a smart move, particularly looking ahead to his move to Ferrari next season? Who do you think will replace the Finn at Lotus? Do you think Davide Valsecchi will step up to a race seat? Or will the team call upon someone else?

Kevin Magnussen is now the favourite to partner Jenson Button at McLaren in 2014 after a poor race result for Sergio Perez in Abu Dhabi sparked fresh questions over his future. McLaren have held a series of meetings over their 2014 driver line-up over the past week. What do you think of this news? Should Magnussen replace Perez? Is he ready to step up to a top team in F1? What about Perez? Where will he go? Do you think he deserves another year at McLaren?

The FIA have announced that this year, motorsport fans will be able to vote in a newly-created ‘moment of the year’ award that will feature in their end of year awards in Paris. The award will feature moments from all motorsport, but that got us thinking, what has been your favourite moment of the 2013 Formula One season so far?

Finally, looking ahead to this weekend’s US GP in Austin – who do you think will be on pole? Predictions for the win?

Join us tomorrow at the usual time of 4pm Eastern US, 9pm UK. Follow @F1Chat for the questions and answer them using the #F1Chat hashtag. As always, we look forward to chatting soon!
