As F1 winds down for the summer break, next week on #F1Chat we will be joined by former McLaren mechanic Marc Priestley – aka @f1elvis, who will be answering your questions about Formula One and his work within the sport. With the teams on a compulsory 2 week factory shut down, on Monday we’ll be handing over the #F1Chat reins to you to put your questions to Marc.
A former race mechanic for McLaren between 2000 and 2009, having worked alongside Mika Hakkinen, Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, among others, Marc is now working in F1 journalism, and has recently reported from the pitlane with 5 Live at this year’s British Grand Prix.
