This week, INDYCAR takes over the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. In addition to the Verizon IndyCar Series race on Sunday, the entire Mazda Road to Indy will be on hand with USF2000 and IndyLights running two races, and the Pro Mazda series racing three times over the three day weekend. This weekend will be a pivotal race in all four series, and we’ll break down all of the championship standings and contenders.
Earlier this week, IndyCar also unveiled the actual unified 2018 chassis during a test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Juan Pablo Montoya tested the Chevrolet-powered car, and Oriol Servia tested the Honda-powered car. We discuss the cosmetic and technical changes as well as the potential raceability of the new package.
