We went into Belgium with two big questions. One, could Nico pull off the win with Lewis starting from the back and, two, just how far up the field could Lewis make it by the checkered flag? Seven of eight staffers picked up nine points by going with a yes on that first one. Tom had originally gone with Lewis for the win before the announcement of the grid penalties came out, but chose to stick with that choice in the hopes of picking himself up from the back of the staff standings. However, he ended up being the lone staffer to come home scoreless this weekend.

Tony was this week’s big winner by way of correctly picking the entire podium! He was, in fact, the only one to pick up any points beyond Rosberg in first. The extra points helped him moved up to first in the FBC Staff standings. The battle up front has been so tight that Tony is the forth leader in the last four races and his seven point lead is the largest since JP held a fourteen point gap following Austria, some five rounds ago. Five of eight staffers, J.P., Dave, Todd, Grace and Tony, have held the lead at some point this season. Other than the swap of positions amongst the top two, everyone else held their spot this week, though Paul moved slightly closer to Tom.
