With just six races left in the 2017 Formula One season, Lewis Hamilton appears to once again be taking position as FBC staff favorite. By no means does the championship leader have an unsurmountable gap to Vettel back in second position, but neither the German nor his team seem to be doing themselves any favors as of late.
So it is with the Malaysian GP picks that six of eight staffers are picking LewHam to take the win, where as Seb gets just one pick, via Johnpierre, as does Bottas with Dave. Seven of eight staffers have some semblance of a Hamilton/Vettel/Bottas podium at the end of the race, with only Grace thinking outside of that box with Ricciardo in third. Todd, Tony, Tom, Dave and Andrew have just nine points separating them and many of those staffers have almost identical picks this week.
Todd and Tony, in second and third place respectively, can only outscore one another by way of their sixth place and First Out choices, in fact. Those picks for First Out see one taking Palmer and the other Stroll, with those two drivers getting two other picks each among the other staff to split this week’s ‘Worst Of’ category at three apiece. Alonso and Raikkonen were each chosen once to leave the race first.
