The season is winding down, though it feels like it just started a couple of races ago. Having amassed a now twenty-six point lead, Paul is going out on a limb by choosing Vettel to pull one out of his hat. The way things have gone for Ferrari as of late, Paul could very well just be resting on his laurels, knowing that he could take a hit should the Italian team still not be able to take it to Mercedes and Hamilton.
Tony back in 5th and JP in last, however, both know that the only real way that they can make any inroads in the points is to think outside of the box. Where as Paul can stand to lose a race, these two backmarkers are both going with Vettel, knowing full well that this could be the only way for both of them to make up so long lost points.
The other five staffers have all gone with Hamilton to win yet again. Should that happen, the staffers in second through fifth (Dave, not Tony) will most surely move at least a little closer to Paul. As per usual, everyone’s podiums are filled with nothing but the leading three teams, with Perez, Sainz and Ocon making guest appearances in the Top Sixth finishing predictions. Alonso seems well over due for a First Out finish, so Andrew and Grace have both picked the Spaniard to indeed leave the race earliest come Sunday in Mexico. Mags, Massa, Grosjean, Raikkonen, Gasley and Stroll get one not apiece this week from the rest of us.
