Renault Found Guilty; Not Penalized

Taking a page from the McLaren initial WMSC meeting, the FIA have found Renault guilty of article 151c but leveraged no penalty or fine as they can not prove that any of the information was used in the development of their car to their advantage.

Apparently Renault don’t keep old emails between drivers or have employees sending SMS text messages to McLaren employees.

Well it seems the entire determining factor in judging guilt in the eyes of the FIA is whether you used email to transmit info between teams mates….

But of course the FIA were correct that Renault didn’t use any of the info from McLaren as evident to their placings this past season.
