It may not be the generation you are familiar with but Michael Schumacher’s son now has a new teammate at Dutch team Van Amersfoort Racing in the ADAC German Formula 4 series which is FIA approved.

Mick Schumacher joined last week and now Adrian Newey’s 16-year-old son, Harrison, has joined the team as well. Team owner Frits van Amersfoort

“This has been one of the most pleasant weeks in our four decade history,” said Frits.

“We’re extremely honoured to have some of auto racing’s most credible persons choosing to entrust our team in the development of two promising young talents.”

Van Amersfoort has worked with Max and Jos Verstappen over his career.

Believe one more seat exists in the Van Amersfoort team, for ADAC F4. The grid is really coming together well for ADAC F4 in terms of entrants, at present its more subscribed than the counterpart MSA Formula in Britain, though both are looking positive for respective inaugural seasons.
