If things couldn’t get more out of hand with the espionage issue, this just in:
Martin Brundle, no stranger to media or F1, is implicated in a FIA lawsuit against the Sunday Times for an article he wrote about the spy saga and the FIA’s “witch hunt” against McLaren. Now, Martin feels the timing of the suit is no coincidence. And here we thought Nigel Stepney was the only guy in legal hot water while Flav was rattling saber’s about it. Sheesh.
“The timing of the writ is significant, in my view, given the FIA’s decision to find Renault guilty of having significant McLaren designs and information within their systems, but not administering any penalty,” Brundle writes in the Sunday Times.
