Racing Point’s new car is a borderline legality issue. I think Renault is trying to turn the legal thing into a political thing merely because they’re grasping for anything to put them ahead without any effort and want to make everyone look bad (including Mercedes since they supplied something and it’s their parts). The FIA had already said that what Racing Point had was legal, so Renault really doesn’t have much of a leg to stand on. Who, exactly, are they complaining to? I don’t see them winning this point.
