I wish the powers that be still gave names to corners. Names instead of numbers really add character and a sense of place. Can you imagine Spa with Turns 1 and 2 instead of La Source and Eau Rouge? Silverstone without Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel? Monza without the Parabolica? Of course not.
For COTA, Turn 1 should definitely be called Phil Hill. (Get it? The hill is artificial… but I can’t take credit for that. I think Varsha came up with it.)
